Sylviaplath

Poetry Analysis/ DiscussionMirrorI am silver and exact. I choose no preconceptions.Whatever I guess I swallow immediatelyJust as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.I am not cruel, and truthful-The nerve of the little god, four cornered. Most of the time I shine on the opposite wall. It is pink, with speckles. I shake up looked at it so longI think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.Faces and darkness sight forth us over and over. Now I am a lake. A cleaning lady bends over me,Searching my reaches for what she really is.Then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon around.I attend to her back, and reflect it faithfully. She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.I am important to her. She comes and goes. Each first light it is her face that replaces the darkness. In me she has drowned a little girlfriend, and in me an old womanRises toward her twenty-four hours after day, like a terrible fish. Many times, children see their parents as old. So, when she morphed into this older woman, she adage herself with wrinkles and age. A midlife crisis, if you will. She wants to hang onto the lies that people tell her - that shes beautiful,...If you want to loll around a full essay, order it on our website: BestEssayCheap.com
